I have more than 30 years of experience working as a consultant/private practitioner. I utilize cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and other evidenced-based treatments to help individuals, couples, and families to understand their patterns of thinking and to implement cognitive strategies for positive change. You will be asked to complete three self-assessment tests(Dr. David Burns) which measure depression, anxiety, and satisfaction in personal relationships, respectively. They will only require a few minutes and you will complete each one prior to your therapy session. The tests can help you and therapist accurately track your progress in counseling. This information can be invaluable and will often make the therapy much more meaningful and rewarding.
