I have over 20 years of combined experience as a hospice social worker and licensed mental health clinician with an emphasis on cancer, chronic disease, grief & loss, stress, and autoimmune disorders. I am a Medicare and EAP provider in Illinois and Missouri. I also offer workshops on Tactical Dating for Smart Women and other relationship issues that focus on Positive Psychology. I no longer treat those experiencing addiction, including extended use of opioids, contemplating divorce or are experiencing suicidal thoughts as this is not within my current area of expertise. I trained with Dr. Ronald Siegel from Harvard Medical School on Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy practices. These skill sets complement my work as a therapeutic coach. Healthy living skills are an important part of my client's treatment plans when desired. I am also a registered yoga and Meditation teacher. As a cancer survivor, I've made many lifestyle changes, one step at a time, in order to live a healthier, happier, joyful life after cancer, divorce, and other life challenges.
