Jo Anna Bement
I enjoy working with clients with panic and anxiety disorders as I have found several techniques that have been effective at resolving panic and diminishing anxiety within a limited number of sessions. I use cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and mindfulness strategies to help clients learn how to let go of fear and worry and enjoy their life in the present moment. I have twenty years of experience working in a private practice and hospital setting. I have also worked with Military personnel through high deployment periods and many different installations and have a significant background in working with this population. I view all problems as able to be improved and work from a strengths perspective.
